Off to the Races

The Ferrari Challenge of North America is officially underway. This past weekend, Daytona International Speedway hosted the first event in the circuit. The twenty four hour double header concluded with a main event in the midst of a downpour.

Shortly after the race began, Gregory Romanelli of The Collection rocketed from the sixth position to the lead, even surpassing Emmanuel Anassis of Ferrari of Ontario, the race’s pole position. From there, Romanelli, Anassis and Ricardo Perez of Ferrari of Houston continued jockeying for the lead position.

Finally, in the dogleg prior to turn 6, Perez took the lead for the remainder of the race. Anassis and Romanelli finished second and third, respectively. The next race in the Ferrari Challenge of North America will take place on the weekend of March 7th at Miami.
